New Beginnings

For the last several years our church has known that God has a new plan for us. It has been a time of prayer & anticipation. God has taught us a lot through various partnerships & community relationships. It has been a time of personal growth & 100% dependence on Him.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! – Psalm 27:14

It seems fitting that our next chapter begins during Lent. So, today our church will have one final worship service as a congregation. This is not a sad or scary thing. We know that God is calling us to partner with another church in our denomination to do a new work in our community.

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; – Philippians 1:6

I covet your prayers for this body of believers to stay the course. May we continue to lean on God even when things may not make sense in human terms.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” – Revelation 21:5
