The Special Blessings Prayer – Donna Partow [REVIEW]

When I downloaded this book to my tablet a couple of months ago, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, based on some interactions that I have had with people over the last 10 days or so, NOW was the perfect time for me to read, understand, and implement The Special Blessings Prayer into my life.

Some quotes from the book:

“Jesus did not just die to pay the price for every sin you’ve committed. He also died to pay the price for every sin committed against you.”

“Nothing unleashes the favor of God like a godly response to an unfair situation.”

“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse” Romans 12:14 NIV

“Favor is when God gives you an unfair advantage…If you will respond in a godly way—if you will bless those who have spitefully used you and treated you unfairly—oh friend, you will gain the attention of the King upon his throne. The King who has in his power the ability to turn the heart of earthly kings. The King who commands the armies of heaven can put angels at your dispatch. The King who sees all, knows all and owns all will repay, will provide, will ASTONISH.”

The main scripture for the book is 1 Samuel 25. Believe me, you will come away with a whole new appreciation for this passage.

I won’t include The Special Blessings Prayer here. You will have to read the book & do the work your self.

NOTE: The Kindle version of the book comes with links to a variety of free resources to facilitate a more thorough understanding of the material

  1. Thanks for sharing this Barb.
On a side note, I wanted to tell you that I saw the documentary on the American Gospel that you had recommended. I absolutely loved it. Very insightful and informative with the subtle ways some can drift in their teaching about the gospel.
Thank you again. Don’t think I would have stumbled upon that on my own.
